Smoky Mountain Pregnancy Care Center provides free pregnancy testing. If you think you are pregnant after missing a period or having early pregnancy symptoms, the next step is a medical verification of your pregnancy. While an at-home test is accurate, you still want to confirm it with a medically verified pregnancy test to be sure. The best time to take a pregnancy test is after you have missed your period. More specifically, the best time to take a test is when your period is two or more weeks late.
